We both value your scalpel precision critique of the paper.
You are a very gifted editor, and I feel so grateful to have you help me rediscover the writing process and my own voice.
I would work with you again anytime. You are a gifted editor. I am very pleased with what we accomplished together.
As a scholar and as a published author, I can appreciate the time and effort that it takes to craft a review, an essay, a dissertation and a book. Good writing takes multiple drafts, and although the work of an editor is largely invisible, I enjoy helping others write with clarity and precision.
I have worked on a variety of editorial projects over the years, including book proposals and manuscripts as well as scholarly articles, abstracts, journals and exhibition catalogues. I currently serve on the Editorial Board of Bloomsbury Fashion Central and DRESS.
I presently hold the position of Associate Editor of the Costume Society of America's journal DRESS.
In 2022, I edited the CSA Conference Abstract Booklet and developed guidelines for future conference abstract submissions. In 2019 and 2020. I was responsible for the editing of scholarly articles published in The Journal of Dress History. I also conceived of and edited two special issues: Costume Journal, Special Issue on Object-based Research in Fashion, Winter 2014 and Costume Journal, Special Issue on Canadian Fashion, Fall 2013.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to discuss your project and my fees.
